Yep, you signed more qualifying players than you lost.

Not to rub it in, but my Niners are projected to lead the league in comp picks next year, with 5 (1 for coach/GM, 4 for players). Two 3rds, two 5ths, and one 6th. We lost a lot of players this year.

For a coach? Did not know you could…and you shouldn’t. There is no salary cap for coaches.

It's the minority hiring comp picks (though I generally agree you shouldn't be able to, but thems the rules). The Niners lost two front office minorities to HC/GM jobs (Ryans and Carthon) in the same offseason. IIRC, That gets you a 3rd rd comp pick for 3 years straight (2023, 2024, 2025).

I think we should bring him back at league minimum…best third stringer in the NFL on paper.
