Ok, lets bring stickem back and let guys go helmet to helmet like the 70's too.... You are as clueless as Tate is.

I was just saying that it used to be worse and the flags wok as a deterrent, except according to dipshits like you of course.

But you're going to pretend that I'm condoning it? I know you're mad when you get to reaching like this.

Breaker feels so strongly about this.

Bet she would be singing a different tune if one of SF's receivers did it to Sherman, if they could of course.

The fact of the matter is that these egregious taunts don't happen that often. But, they shouldn't ever happen. Every player in the NFL is an ambassador to the league and to the sport and therefore should conduct themselves appropriately. If they don't, then the league should give them an "eye for an eye" response. If you want to try to go out of your way to make someone look stupid, then the NFL should make you feel stupid in return. 15 yards after the play simply doesn't do that. I don't think a fine does that either, because it isn't public enough, although they should be fined regardless.

I would be perfectly fine with them taking away the TD and making it a simple spot foul where the taunting started, or eject the player from the game with some sort of minor suspension, such as the first half of the next game.

Couldn't disagree more. The player that taunts should be the one feeling the pain. If $10,000 doesn't get the job done make it $50,000 or what ever it takes. Taking points off the board for some player being a dumb ass should not even be in the conversation. Do you think coaches, players and fans approve of some player acting like a child? Of course they don't and they are not the ones who should feel the pain, let it be on the dumb ass that acted the fool.

I think if they went the way of a fine, it should be a percentage of their game check. that way the uber rich don't just think screw it I got 10k to burn, yet it isn't so high that a min. wage player (I am laughing at saying Min. wage as I type LOL) don't end up playing for free because they make the # so high to keep the uber rich from taunting. Just make it a percentage of your game check.

I really think the player needs to get kicked out of the game...and if they do it in the 4th quarter, they're gone for the 1st half of the next game. You won't see that nonsense if that's the penalty except from guys that won't have a job for very long.

Player represents the team. Get your players under control. The roid raging is getting out of hand.

You are fucking retarded.

You should really stop projecting.

It's really simple to me you stupid fucking mongoloid, if the NFL is serious about stopping taunting, that would do it. No go back to jerking off to your Tom Brady fathead.

I hope this story didn't come about just because Jeff Fisher is on the competition committee.

The rule against taunting needs to be abolished. It is a fucking joke. It is another one of those horseshit subjective penalties that officials use to control "momentum" of a game. There was a DUI RB a year ago who was talking mad shit to the opposing team and as soon as that team stomped his ass for a 5 yard loss the officials flagged the defense for taunting because one of the players that the drunk RB was talking shit to dared to say something back when his drunk ass was on his back crying for momma.

I like a good spike. It's a in your face I scored you didn't stop me type of taunt.

What Tate did is just some punk ass shit. He will get his one day on the field in form of getting his dick knocked in the dirt.

No new rules needed.

Yes, because coaches, players and fans don't approve of holding penalties either and they aren't the ones that held so why should they be punished for a TD called back. Lets fine the player that held instead.

:agree: The spike is a classic. But I wouldn't consider it taunting and neither would the league, unless of course you spike the ball at the opposing team

See, this is whats weird.... Do this facing someone and it is completely disgusting, ejection worthy trash, but turn around and do it and its all fun entertainment!

And that statement doesnt mean that i condone taunting. Just that the line is already à bit rediculous, keep moving the line and it becomes even more so.
