saints/panthers will be for the division lead so that's the obvious choice

Oh I agree. Either way I'm looking forward to a great day of football that week with lots of playoff implications. Cincy-Indy, Zona-STL, Sea-SF, Det-Philly, Car-NO, Dal-Chi, Hou-Jax (Just kidding).

If I wasn't biased to the NFC west, I would say Saints/Panthers is a better game. Heck, SF isn't even a playoff team at this point.

When was the last time the cardinals beat the niners?

9er nation should count their blessings that another massacre beatdown of them by the Seahawks won't be broadcast primetime. Especially at Candledump this time.

At Candledump where the seahawks have not won since 2008.

But the niners played wilson there...

I am not sure if you recall.... he was 9 of 23 with no TD's and an interception and a 24 QBR.

<insert seahawk fan excuse here>

Unlike Kappy, he learns from his mistakes and fixes his weaknesses.

Not making an excuse, we did lose, but I am not sure if you recall, but Wilson dropped a perfect pass into the hands of our backup RB that would have been a TD if he didn't drop it. Let's not pretend like the outcome was something embarrassing like 42-13 or 29-3

If the game is relevant for both teams, sure. If it is irrelevant for either side, there is no point.

So I guess, thats a you want to think about it? You told me to come talk to you after the game, so I assumed you were confident.

Nice try. I think even you understand that being it's the last game of the year it might not be relevant for one team or the other. For example, if the Cardinals have the division wrapped up, which is a possibility, You might see backups. So if you're asking me if i'm confident the Cardinals backups can beat the niners starters, the answer is no. But both teams at full strength....you got a bet.

Keep up Breaker, you're smarter than that.

Here is my excuse. It was an Alex Smith led Frisco team that beat Seattle that day. We have much greater success going Kaep.

Pretty sure in the NFL teams can only be in primetime a certain number of games. The reason the 2nd Broncos/Chiefs game was not flexed to the Sunday Night game was because the Broncos have reached their limit for the season. Not sure if San Fran or Seattle have reached their limit. Either way both games are going to be huge but I can understand why they would consider the Saints/Panthers game to mean a bit more since the division is on the line compared to just more bragging rights than anything in the 49ers/Seahawks game.

The NFL didn't flex the niners/seahawks game into primetime instead opting for the Saints/Panthers game.

I sure wish I could say it was because they thought the seahawks wouldn't make a game of it.... but I think we all know thats not what they were thinking. :L

Can't believe they aren't going to give us primetime for that one. I bought my tickets expecting it to be flexed to a night game as they have done with the second matchup the past two years.... I have a wedding to attend that day... I have to sell my tickets....

Sucks.

I would not want to go to some wedding of a moron who plans it anytime any football game is on

The Seahawks/49ers game was protected by fox so it could not be chosen as a flex game
