I understand that part, but if I have the Jags and I take a player that played before 2006, but he is the first Jags player I took, can I stipulate that he is my divisional pick. So the other 4 picks can fall out of the 2006 limit?

Or do I have to have my 4 team picks first and the 5th counts as a divisional

As long as it all works out years wise and they are in the 1970-2006 years you can switch it to a division pick.

I think after everyone takes their franchise and Franchise player, it should be up to them which way they go in round two. If you want to start picking from your own franchise, fine, if you want to start stealing, fine.

I thought this was already stipulated, or am I wrong. Part of being able to choose your own franchise guys is that you should be able to take them whenever you want. Meaning if you have a guy like Jerry Rice, either you take him with your second pick or risk losing him to someone else.

I thought that was the rules. Since we are doing one draft instead of two now

@Ritzarmy

Can you edit 1 thing... There won't be "2 drafts", since you get the "Face of the Franchise" we aren't doing the "pick 8" thing... Once you pick your Franchise and the face of it, round 2 starts the player picks and it's no holds barred... People can use their divisional pick to steal from your franchises...

By the way thanks for setting it up Shane... Dash had practice yesterday and I didn't get back until 8 and didn't get a chance to come in here very much...

@Nosferatu when you get a chance can you update this on the first post so it will kinda create less confusion

Good deal. Now, while we can take players from other teams, we don't HAVE to, correct? You can take as many from our 2 teams as we like right?

No order at all. You can take your division picks in the first 8 rounds, or all franchise picks, or mix it up

@CitySushi what is the confusion on? Everything? lol

Mostly on the divisional picks with relation to your own team. So you have to take two players from each division. Say for example you ended up with the 49ers/Jaguar combo. You have to take 4 players from each squad, which I get. The confusion comes with someone mentioning that you could draft additional players from these teams with respects to their own division. So could you potentially take up to 6 players from each of your own teams, 4 required and 2 division slots of players who played between 70-06? Is that how it works?

I believe the FB position should be changed to FB/WR/TE Flex spot. Because you know YOLO.

The max for your franchise team would be 5. So say you have 49ers, you can take 4 franchise picks and one division pick for the 49ers. Same with the Jags. Remember max players from 1 specific team for division picks is 1, including your own franchise teams for the division picks...
