I guess I'm alone in liking the pick ... not a sexy pick, but the kid knows how to get to the QB, plays with really good leverage, excellent hand use and sets the edge well against the run. Yes, he's not Von Miller off the snap, but he gets the job done in other ways. Not my top selection of who was left, but it's a solid pick none the less.

Howie gets a C- for the first round. Because of all the talent he passed up on. No excuse. Now we still need a RB and CB and we had depth at DE. This is my worst scenario that could have happened.

Reasonable grade and I agree with the sentiment... Barnett may work out, but today, tonight, I can't believe who we passed on.

If they didn't love a CB, best move is to make the CBs better by getting a pass rusher. This guy isn't fast, but he plays in the backfield and gets home. And he didn't pad his stats against the Little Sisters of the Poor.

Joe Douglas thinks he sees some Terrell Suggs in this dude. I trust Joe's eyes.

Damn. Raiders got a great deal. Conley is going to have a good career in Vegas. Probably prefers a different scenery than Vegas. I just knew he was too good not to pass up. And fuck Dallas. That was there guy imo.

I was all Barnett all the time. Well, until Hooker fell to 14. Lol. You don't have the production Barnett does by being a scrub. He will get the QB, and Graham and Cox will see less double teams with this guy on one end of the line.
