I'm really intrigued with the idea of Thomas from Oregon. Could be the return specialist/Darrin Sproules-type RB we've been looking for.

Don't know if the 49ers will take another James type player,but we will see.

We're running out of room for a WR. If we draft one, he has to be a punt returner. Even if he is a burner, I seriously doubt he even gets on the field as a WR this season.

We already added a wr, Stevie Johnson. He has 3 1000 yard seasons, we dont need a rookie, unless hes a return guy.

Agreed we need some corners. 49ers secondary doesn't look so great.

I'm really intrigued with the idea of Thomas from Oregon. Could be the return specialist/Darrin Sproules-type RB we've been looking for.

He doesn't have the power that Sproles has throughout his body so I don't think he offers you quite as much in the run game, an area I still think Sproles has been underused in the last couple seasons. He isn't the route runner that Sproles was coming into the NFL. Sproles' head for the game is very impressive as well and I don't know if Thomas is or ever will be that kind of guy either. Maybe when he grows up.

Now if you want to kind of just generalize and just say that Thomas should/can be a move piece in the NFL that plays on STs and works in the passing game, ok. I don't think he'll be as valuable of a move piece as most people do but that's me. I'd be careful about projecting him as one of the next Sproles. Sproles is ridiculously special and I don't think Thomas projects to be able to do a number of things that he can do.

We need help at CB. EJ Gaines is one of the few CB'sleft who could potentially help us out this year. Gotta get Coleman, though. I know we're stacked at WR, but this guy is going to be something special IMO.

Thats not nessecarily true. CB, DL, OLB, QB, and TE could all use depth and will at least compete for a spot on the team. I'm sure there will be plenty of trading left to come.
