Yeah, I don't know how it goes with three per bucket. Or if it can both ways? That's what I was talking about... In the basketball 1 there was only 1 pick per bucket so if you traded the bucket you traded the pick... This is a little different but I assumed once you traded the bucket all picks pertaining to said bucket went with it...
Yeah, I don't know how it goes with three per bucket. Or if it can both ways?
Considering who fell to me, I think I lucked out...You'd have to change your Dieon bucket... Also Ritz grabbed my guy UK damn it! I'll stay...
Did Dante Culpepper win 4 SBs? All without Moss might I add? Did he ever have completion, yards or TDs like Brady? TD/INT ratios?
You win by throwing it to your team and moving the ball down the field. If it's 15 passes 3 yards deep or a bomb. Only one is efficient though.
But hey, don't trust me? Trust the champion. The guy who makes random nobodies work. Whose his best running back he's played with?
Brady didn't win 4 Championships on his own. I don't understand why people bring up his Championship's to somehow try and prove his greatness, Trent Dilfer and Brad Johnson won Super Bowls. He's an above average QB who found himself in the perfect place at the perfect time. I never said he wasn't a good QB but as far as being in the convo for best of all time, I don't believe he belongs in that conversation.
For me it really comes down to decent defenses and a great system, Matt Cassel won 11 games with the Pats. Brady doesn't make random nobodies work Belichick does.
Cassel won 11 games in a weak AFC year. He lost immediately in the playoffs. Brad Johnson won 1 Super Bowl. Not fucking 4. This is asinine. Brady is going to go down as one of the best in just about every stat. Not just wins. He makes plays surrounded by a lot of average to nothing players. You saw what he did when he got a HOF like Moss with him. Think about in something like this?
Anyways, good lord really didn't picking Brady would cause a stir. Goes to show the ignorance in opinions we get on these things.
And you took Marino right before. LOL.
Marino > Brady and it's not close.
They didn't immediately lose in the playoffs if I remember correctly they didn't even make the playoffs at 11 - 5 in a supposed down year in the AFC. Such a down year 11 - 5 didn't make the playoffs.
Again, you don't have to be great when you have Randy Moss in his prime just throw him the fucking ball!
Brady has 4 rings, how many does he have if Wilson turns and hands the ball to Lynch at the one in last years Super Bowl? How many does he have if they don't steal the Rams plays in the 2000 Super Bowl? How many does he have without Belichick? He hasn't done it alone and AGAIN I didn't say he sucked I just said he does not belong in the conversation of greatest of all time. Drew Brees is gonna go down as one of the best of all time stats wise as well does in belong in the conversation?
I have no problem with you drafting Brady and you having him won't make me downgrade your team I was simply making conversation and stating my opinion.
EDIT... Just noticed you called me ignorant... Nice... My opinion differs from yours so i'm ignorant...
You are ignorant in calling one of the best ever(labeled by literally any person paid to cover the sport) simply above average. But, but you say Brady only throws "3 yard" passes. Now its his fault that Wilson tried a shorter than 3 yard pass and failed? But its so easy!! Tom does it!! LOL you try and cherry pick why 4 rings didn't happen. But they did. And actually one wasnt even with Moss. Yeah all 400+ of his TDs went to Moss in his 4 years with the Pats!!
Marino himself would put Brady in the convo. EVERYONE with an sort of objectivity would(for the record im not even a Brady fan). Trying to squeeze Brees in is ignorance as well. Although he actually has a lot of stats that compare more favorably to brady than Marino.
But what made Marino better and it not being close? Completing passes? Yards per attempt? TDs? Refraining from throwing it to the other team? Passer rating?
You were half right ill give you that, a lot of it isn't close. Sadly, its just Tom out in front.
Argue for Montana or Rodgers(if you are ok with projecting out his career). But don't argue against Brady being great or Marino being better. Please.
But anyways, don't take too much offense to me saying you are "ignorant" its just a fitting word for saying the whole picture aint being viewed. Not really going for a "name calling" approach.
Tom will be retiring soon. We will see what Bellicheck and his next system QB can cook up. Then ill say i told you so.
Tom Brady = Bill Russell
So now the media is our guide to knowing if a player is good or not?, People who watch the same games we do? The fact they get to be around the sport doesn't mean they somehow have a different and more educated view of what makes a player good. You don't think you could possible know as much as Pete Prisco or Bob Sansevere? And how long would Dan Marino or any other ex player be on the air if they ripped Brady? Of course they are going to talk positive about him. They have 4 Super Bowl wins, the same as the great QB Terry Bradshaw and funny thing is they have been surrounded by controversy in every one of those seasons.
But i'm done here and look I didn't call you ignorant even once...
I'll be here, I've seen Garoppolo throw 3 yard passes he's got a shot at greatness!
Dude I ain't just talking sports writers. I am talking everyone. From Chris Berman to Cris Carter to Jay Feely.
Its unanimous. But yeah, type "best quarterback of all time into google" and just see how frequently Brady is in the top 3.
Im talking everyone. Random internet folks like us. Sports writers. Former Players. Current Players.
Sure..I can say that in my opinion Tommy Milone is better than Matt Harvey. Don't make me right.
How is Tom Brady Bill Russell please explain that one though lol.
