Actually you are wrong. That's what saved their cap. Keeping him is what would have hurt their cap
Keeping an uncoachable player would have hurt the team. Their cap situation is fine.

You keep creating your own history no matter how many times I correct you. Why don't you show me where I've used the term Cap Hell? That's your term and NuttyEagles term. What I have said over and over is that kicking the can down the road is going to cause you to not be able to sign other players that you want to sign because you don't have the cap space to do so and that's exactly what happened two years ago and you collapsed that year because of it (CJGJ or Slay and all of your LBers and a bunch of other starters or rotation guys as an example) and you would have kept Milton Williams as an example this year if you had the cap space to do it. I don't even know how you can disagree with that objectively. Why don't you find where I have used the term Cap Hell to describe the Eagles. I don't think I have used it since before you traded Wentz away.

So you described the eagles in Cap Hell after the 2020 season and the next year we made the playoffs and a year after that made the SB?

Most championship-caliber teams in the salary cap era eventually reach a point where they cannot sign all their players. That's normal when you accumulate a lot of talent. It happens to everyone. You cannot use that as evidence the Eagles' method is bad while ignoring the scoreboard, but you sure want to try!

Go look up on here how many millions of times I've said the cap is just math and there is no secret to it. Every penny hits the cap. Every penny. It's just a matter of in what year.

The bottom line is you were wrong and refuse to admit it. The Eagles reloaded and won, and look poised to keep winning. So we'll keep reminding you of how wrong you were! Sorry you don't like it.

You are right that everyone plays by the same cap rules, which is what makes it so amusing when you argue against Philly's now-proven winning strategy here, when your team is operating as if it were still the pre-cap era, with Jerry mismanaging contract extensions left and right.

Why was Wentz uncoachable? i never heard that?
He just refused to be coached. He was improvising everything and ignoring progressions. He refused to adapt in Philly, Indy, and Washington

Not true. 5 million dollars vs the cap in 2021 accounts for a greater percentage of the cap than 5 million dollars 3-4 years later. They take advantage of the cap always growing.

According to @jarntt the Eagles have been in Cap Hell all the way back to 2018. 7 playoff wins, 2 SB appearances, and a SB Trophy later, I'd say the Eagles are doing just fine.

I'm not sure who you are, but I'll assume you were here then if you are saying that. I know Eagles fans have their own version of reality, but If you go back and look at what I said it was related to the Wentz contract which you traded away. Again, I'll say bring up an instance where I used the term Cap Hell and the Eagles in the last few years. There is a search function so it will be very easy for you. That has been Nuttyeagles and Igloos term. My comments are very consistent and factual. You just just don't like them.

I don't recall ever hearing that before. I wonder if that is an attitude issue or an ability issue. I know there were whispers of locker room issues but I didn't know about coaching issues.

You specifically mentioned it in 2018 and after the 2020 season. Also said we had no QB to boot. Just last off-season you said the eagles cap situation was the reason for the collapse in 2023, only to win the SB like 9 months later.

That's pretty weak and both 2018 and 2020 were before you traded Wentz just like I said. :noidea: That's all you got from your search of my posts? Admitting defeat so easy? Oh and I'll do you one better on the bolded, I just said it again like an hour ago...

I guess you'll always have the anomaly that is the 2020 season to save face. Congrats?

And yeah, great call on the Eagles cap situation being so bad in 2024 that we won the SB like 9 months later. How's it look as we head into 2025?

A new format i guess

Saw that, didn’t understand what it exactly meant tho. Are they in and out of all the NFCE locker rooms? Limited or unlimited access? I’m assuming player and coach interviews/interactions and practices at minimum.
