On trading down, I also think it would be a good move for the Eagles, but unless a QB falls, it doesn't seem likely because there are far fewer teams looking to move up and than down in the late first round of this draft. I could see them stand pat and take the best player available, a DE like a Nic Scourton of A&M, or even trade up to snag one of the edge rushers if an elite one like Mikel Williams of Georgia is still there in the early 20s.

I think trade back is all predicated on whether or not Jaxon Dart survives the Steelers at 21. If any of the Milrose rumors are true there’s a small chance someone could want a 5th year for him.

Yup, I heard the rumor in relation to Millroe, that some teams liked him and could trade into the back of the first for him. I hope it's true just for the sake of the value of those late first selections.

Was never a Mazi guy but appreciate the joke. Davis has just never developed the hands he needs to rush the passer. Gun to my head, the Eagles don’t resign him. Ojomo got limited reps last year but had a really high pressure rate. He can play 1,3,5 tech. Hes going into season 3 but is only 23. He was one of the youngest guys in the draft in 2023.

And I want to double down on what I said before…with the attention Carter gets the Eagles don’t need an All Pro there to get All Pro production.

I agree. Milton Williams and Josh Sweat should each send Carter at least 1/2 of their paychecks.
