Pretty much my thoughts as well. I'm not sold on Ringo even though he hasn't had too much opportunity. But I agree I don't want to put DeJean out there either. Rogers was actually above avg when he played so I'd be fine rolling with him but only if the price is right.
Rogers market will be interesting. I also liked his snaps he had last year. Slay missed a considerable amount of time and Rogers performed well. Not sure what he will go for in the end. I guess it depends on how the FA CB market evolves.

He was a great Eagle. There is an off chance that if there is no market for him or if it’s much less than expected that he could come back on a 1 year but that’s not likely.

Eagles will have to make a decision on Isaiah Rogers. He’s a FA. The decision on Rogers may come down to their belief in Kelee Ringo. If they think Ringo is ready to start they can let Rogers walk. They have some solid practice squad and developmental CBs for depth.

The big thing I don’t want to see is DeJean moved outside. The slot cornerback has evolved into being the 12th starter. They found a great player there. I fear moving him outside you lose something at 2 positions.
Interesting on DeJean. I thought he was in the slot more because that was the open spot than because he might not be as good on the outside. It was obviously pretty big to hit on both of those young CBs

DeJean was great as a nickel corner, and I suspect they keep him there, because they basically found a way to play with a extra DB most of the time and not lose much against the run since DeJean is a very good tackler. He was almost like a LB at the line of scrimmage, one who could also cover receivers and tight ends.

Regarding the Saquon extension, I have not seen the cap breakdown, but I suspect this is a classic Howie kick the can down the road move, extending his deal in a way that buys the team more cap room in the short run.

Demarcus Lawrence went and told the truth about Dallas after signing with Seattle, saying, that while Dallas is still his family's home, he knows he could never win a Super Bowl there.

That didn't go over well with Micah Parsons and the players still imprisoned in, errr, playing for the Cowboys.

Brandon Graham officially retired today. Very interesting career, first round pick out of Michigan, initially considered somewhat of a disappointment compared with Jason Pierre-Paul. But of course the story wasn't finished. JPP went and tragically blew half his hand off like a moron with fireworks. Graham went on to become a very solid DE and OLB who won two rings and made some Pro Bowls.

Time to pay respect to a legend. Not a HOF player IMO but one that definitely left his mark on the league. Vick to Djack, that was poetry.

Emmitt Smith is tired of hearing smack from Eagles fans. Hate to break it to you, Emmitt, but it's not going to stop. Wait until the Commanders take the next step! Cowboys are the new Browns.

I mean I gotta give props to the Cowboys... they are the most relevant irrelevant team in sports history. Like doing nothing in the last 30 years but kind of doing something...

Anyway, I imagine they'll take McMillan or Jeanty.. Jerry is nearly dead and wont be able to help himself. He'll need something to get it up outside of the 18 year old (?) lap dancing in the booth with him.

You make a good point, because in Jerry's mind, all that seems to matter is that the Cowboys are still getting attention, and unlike most teams that fall off, Dallas still gets all the national games and stuff due to the fact that a lot of people like them--and a lot more people like to hate them. So they get the ratings and the publicity, and Jerry gets the $$$.

Everyone is tired of the Eagles fans already. Heck we are starting to realize that the Patriots fans were pretty damn grounded in retrospect :D

Any way, it's all cyclical. Our cycle just seems to have a little bit bigger of a loop in it.. Like the orbit of Pluto big.. :pout:

Trolling within the NFCE division is a prideful tradition for most, as is the requisite responses.

Everyone hated us before we won rings, now it must be unbearable! :wash::wash::wash::wash::wash:
It was about as bad as any fan base anywhere could be, so status quo for me! Actually, if I'm being honest, probably not as bad as in the past. I mean the Philly fan base was just disgusting. I think they've been somewhat pulled out of the Dark Ages in recent years and I think some of the "normal" fans have started calling out the scum bag fans. So I'll say better than in the past even with the rings.

I have always called out bad behavior by Philly fans, for the record, and admitted that our fan base almost seemed to revel in its reputation for bad behavior.

I think the fans were way, way worse when the team played at the Vet. Honestly, part of what has happened is that it has become unaffordable for working class people to have these season tickets, and the types at the games now are a little different, more middle class people, and yes, some front runners who suddenly want to act like they were always die-hard Eagles fans.

Could be a factor, no doubt
