Goff. Pocket passer vs rb for those OTs
well you guys knew where I was gonna go with it, but honestly didnt know which team we were talking of.

Some QBs make their line look better (stat wise) & others would hurt their line

Honestly, Penei Sewell is better than Lane Johnson at this stage in their respective careers. Lane is still a good RT though. He's had himself a strong career and will merit Hall of Fame consideration. But he is near the end. Lane went entire seasons without giving up sacks earlier in his career but he is a mere mortal now. He has good and bad plays and is more prone to getting beat outside than he was in his prime.

It would be amazing if the Commanders beat the Lions, the Eagles beat the winner of Rams/Vikings, and we had round 3 of Eagles-Commanders in the NFC title game! :peace: :thrasher: :flame: :popsdance: :thumb::wash::markmay:

I like the way the NFC playoff field is unfolding for Philly. My dream scenario is looking possible!

The Commanders kicker has a weird nervous tic: he likes to sweep his hand through his hair before field goals. Reminds me of Jeff Hornacek who would always touch the side of his face before shooting free throws.

Nakobe Dean certainly acted like a guy who knew he suffered a big injury. He just sat down. Dean has had a breakout season, and is a good LB when healthy, but he has been extremely injury prone so far in his pro career. Hopefully he can recover from this injury in time to compete in next training camp.

I guess this means Oren Burks at LB for the rest of the way now. He is a veteran and decent cover guy but not as good as Dean against the run.

Darius Slay is another guy whose injuries have been piling up. He came back into the game yesterday so hopefully he can grit it out because he is still a good corner, as he showed on his INT early.

If not, though, Isaiah Rodgers has started a bunch of times at corner. He is average overall, a dropoff but not a huge one. These injuries so far are ones we can survive IMO.

Update: dean has a torn patellar tendon

Brutal

Health matters in this week to week league. War of attrition heading to the big dance.
