Yeah, I agree with you--football player thinks his team is better than the other guys is hardly surprising news.

Frankly, the Commanders are not better. Not yet anyway. They have a nice young QB and the future looks very bright indeed, but in the present, I think Philly beats DC 7 out of 10 games.

I agree, the Commanders are coming in the NFC East, and may win this weekend, I am not saying that won't happen. Philly is kind of due for a loss frankly, and I thought it was going to be last week.

This game really matters for Philly because a win would clinch the division once and for all for Philly, and Philly likely needs to win out to win homefield advantage in the NFC. But the Commanders are fighting to ensure a playoff berth and will surely be bringing their A game here.

Wow that's great news. I was in the district a week ago for work. Man it has grown a lot downtown, lots of new buildings.

Washington Post says it was a miracle they snuck this through, at like 1 am. The bill transfers the site from the feds to DC at no cost!

Eagles D is the real deal and the O has been transformed with Saquon late in games.

Still think Skins will give them a helluva fight at home in a few weeks and I still like our chances for an upset

Tough loss yesterday to the Commanders, but I guess we learned an important lesson: Kenny Pickett is not the answer at backup QB. Some of us said that in preseason, when he was clearly outperformed by Tanner McKee.

That loss effectively knocked Philly out of the race for #1 seed in the NFC, barring a miracle, and probably means they will rest starters now in the final weeks. I think next week's game against Dallas is almost certainly the last one for the starters now.

Dallas was formerly eliminated with the Commanders win. I think there is a chance next week's Philly-Dallas game is utterly meaningless to both by kickoff, which sucks since I am going to the game.

Meh, my view stands. Losing your starting Qb is going to affect those odds.

So Dallas beating the Bucs might knock the Bucs out of the playoffs, which would be great for the Eagles. The Eagles have really struggled to beat Tampa in recent years. Todd Bowles seems to be bitter Philly never offered him a job and he really seems to have a great scheme to shut down Jalen Hurts, so I would love not to see them in the playoffs.
