NFC should be on day, AFC the next

During playoffs, especially this current round, shouldn't the NFC games be played on the same day and AFC can play on the other day?

Now, Seattle has an extra day off than SF or Carolina. So do the Patriots.

I would say 100% of the winners on Saturday in this round do not "go to work" on Sunday, and with the Conference Championships the next Sunday, the argument can be made they both have the same amount of time to study one another... as the winner on Saturday doesn't know who he's playing until the games are over on Sunday.

TV contracts prevent this from happening. CBS gets the AFC game. Fox gets the NFC game. Each network gets on Saturday game and one Sunday game this weekend.

Totally agree with the OP. Why give one team an extra day of rest before the Championship games? One day of rest is huge, especially for players nursing minor injuries.

If that's the case it should be change. It makes no difference at all. They'd both still get 2 games, they'd just be on the same day. Easy fix.
