I think he has the potential to be a superstar. A true TE type like Witten. Goedert is now being used primarily as a blocker because the OLine and run game weren’t rolling the first 3 weeks. They are asking him to do a different job because of the OLine struggles. In addition we have a fantastic receiving TE already who isn’t much of a blocker. If Ertz goes down you will see Goedert used more in the passing game. Remember that 75 yard TD he had versus Dallas last year. There aren’t many if any TEs these days who are top ranked blockers and can run and catch like that.

But I’m dumbfounded trying to think of how the Eagles asking him to block more this year has anything to do with moving the goalposts. I’m literally shaking my head like, huhh... what? On top of that he hasn’t played many snaps this year because he’s dealing with an injury since the preseason.

I didn't drop it. I said and still say, you claimed Goedert was an excellent STARTING TE, and now that he's not putting up numbers you say he's really a blocking TE.

If you recall on draft day I said drafting him with Ertz on the roster was unwise as he won't get many opportunities to get catches.

One thing I do know is you claimed Goedert to be great, then moved that claim to being a blocker.

The eagles forgot what won them a SB. That was obvious. After they won they were all about trolling. They were so excited to troll the cowboys at the draft they missed the boat. They also trolled the patriots at the parade. You do that when you think you are far and away the better team. They found out the hard way last year that they were not.
