If not for the 49ers crappy 1st half last yr in the superbowl, the NFC would have won the last 5 superbowls.

If not for the 49ers bad first half?? They got dominated and the second was the same way of not for the f/ing lights going out for 30 minutes...r u joking?
Since 2001 the AFC North has been to the Super Bowl 5 times.
3 appearances with 1 loss by the Steelers and 2 appearances and 2 wins for the Ravens.
The only loss was to the Packers.
5 appearances in 13 years with 4 victories.
What other conference can claim anything close to it?
The NFCBest has had all 4 teams in the super bowl over that time. And 3 out of the last 5 super bowls were represented by an different NFCBest team each time. Top to bottom, the best division in football over that time.
Idiot alert.

Wassup OldSchool?
So you have to go back 14 years to counter the OP's claim that the NFC has been more powerful over the last 5 years?Since 2001 the AFC North has been to the Super Bowl 5 times.

Dominated? Didn't they win by 3 and needed a goal line stand to hold onto the lead? Then they had to intentionally give up a safety because they couldn't make a first down to seal it.If not for the 49ers bad first half?? The reality was that was two fairly evenly matched teams.
Hard to argue with something that dumb really. The lights going out is your excuse? It was just another break, like half time. Didn't have any more advantage for one team vs the other. You still had to play defense and clearly they got tired and let SF back into it. If anything the power outage actually saved the game for you as it appeared your defense needed that extra rest. They were gassed by the end of that game.U forgot to add Kap and SF couldn't score from inside the 10 on 4 downs and the smart play was the safety and punt.
no lights out Ravens win by 40.
