I just want a guy at QB that can do everything that this offense needs you to do to win, I don't like bashing Millard but we didn't have those things with him from what I saw. Congrats and good luck to Ford and lets hope this is the start of a great career at WVU.

I am happy that Ford earned it with great practice play... And a great attitude. In an era when kids are entitled, it would not have surprised me to see him transfer.

I hope he takes the reigns and has a great career.

Paul came to WVU to add depth to a position when there was none. He just doesn't have the arm strength to make all the throws.

But, Ford was the guy Dana recruited to be 'Da Man'.

I wish I got the game this weekend. I am half temped to travel to the Maryland game. I am sure that will be on TV

BBWVfan Maybe I should stay home. My last Trip to see them in New York didn't turn out to well. Your bus ride was a nightmare also on the way home. Oh well

I am excited to see this kid, but not excited about the fact if he has a rough game we will once again go back to the drawing board. Crest might come in here next year and start as a true freshman at this point. Ford by the numbers seems to have all the tools of a great QB, I hope he can gain some confidence this game and lead for this team.

What does this say about Trickett? Can even earn the job when the pool is lessened by one player....
