We need major o-line help wouldn't matter if we had Calvin Johnson on our team if the offensive line can't give the QB time to throw

I agree with that statement but its not like we don't need a WR either plus its not all the o-lines fault. YES we need o-line help and I will try to address that in the draft. I am taking everyones suggestions on top 5 and doing a top 5 on the average by position. However come draft time if the 3rd best WR is there and the 7th best OL is there I will go with BPA which would be the WR no matter if I had O-Line as our top need.

Do the Redskins need to draft a QB will be addressed if Cousins gets traded and if Grossman remains with the team. During the mock draft I will assume both will be on the team and there for no QB needs to be taken. Basically certain positions I see No need to do research on or have a list of best at their positions if we aren't even thinking of taking a player from that position. Positions I wont take QB,FB,K,P. (QB maybe only if a HUGE steal in 5-7th round)

ILB, ILB, RG, WR, DE

GKekoa's suggestions will be thrown away because he is the Houston's GM in the mock draft. However I do agree with his list :-)

So far this is the avg order you guys want picked. ILB and WR were tied.
1) OL 2A)ILB 2B)WR 4)DE 5)S

ILB is the biggest need...that doesn't mean we should use a pick on it. The only two that should be contemplated here are Mosely and Skov.

OL- there will be a huge run on them in the 1st and there will likely be no value in round 2. The only ones to consider are Moses and Richardson.

WR- extremely deep class with 2nd/3rd round potential. Unless somebody with a chance to be special (Kelvin Benjamin) is around, don't waste the pick on coin flip players.

S- Obvious need but it's debatable on how of an upgrade we can get with a 2nd round pick. I'm going to assume we will sign a FA starter and I want to know what Philip Thomas (SS) has so I'd be looking for more of a FS with the pick. Pryor and Reynolds are the only two worth it here but I'd only go Pryor if he fell and skip Reynolds.

DE- I think we may get the best value here. If Hageman or Tuitt fall, then we should bite quickly.

OG- If neither Hageman or Tuitt fall, this is where the value will be...Yankey, Jackson, Filo depending on your rankings.

It all depends on how the draft works out and when we are drafting. I am trading back so that changes a few things for us.

You already traded?

No I haven't completed a trade YET but I have some interest from the ones I proposed. I have 10 trades that VTsparks and I discussed and our #1 trade we like, the team said they are interested but want to wait to see who is available at end of 1st round of draft.

Gotcha...I was about to say, any trade prior to the draft is just foolish on all parties.

Yes March 31st at 10am will start the next draft. I am the new GM and VTsparks is the assistant GM in case I cant make a selection. I will keep everyone updated on who has been selected and BPA. I will trade back in the draft so we have more picks. You can help make suggestions of who to pick and I will pick the overall consensus on what everyone suggests.

Gkekoa's draft from last time is finished and we will be doing a completely new draft.

Oh and Gkekoa is the GM for the Texans on next draft and the Texans have the pick before us in every round. Hmmm I wonder why he picked the Texans :noidea:

I picked the Texans because I wanted more draft picks. They have the luxury of being the #1 pick with lots of options. I will definitely be looking to trade out of #1 and get as much as I can to play with.

Okay folks now that are free agent signings are basically over what positions do we need to still address and in what order for the mock draft on 3/31?

I say:
1) FS 2)OL 3)ILB 4)WR 5)DT/DE
Don't think a FS that will be available to us at #34 will be worth the #34th pick so properly have to wait till 3rd round.

1.OT 2.WR 3.ILB 4.QB 5.NT

I seriously believe a OT that could challenge for the starting RT position is going to fall/be overlooked due to the abundance of WRs

It seems to this point we are NOT trading Cousins so QB seems pointless.
1. OT (FA doesn't seem to bare one so)
2. S (Goes without saying)
3. NT (Hatcher signing pointless if we don't have a NT to collapse the pocket)
4. WR (I believe we sign another FA before the draft)
5. CB (Hall is aging and his replacement is not on current roster)

I wouldn't count out trading Cousins until after the draft. Kiper said on the podcast that some QB needy team who doesn't get one of the Top 3 (he mentioned Minnesota) could be looking to acquire one on draft day (or before) be it Cousins, Schaub, or someone else.
