i like henery young guy who got stuck in the frigid eagles and giants stadiums 10 times a year. our schedule would let him kick in a dome 7 more times this year and then in tampa later in the season where temps usually dont drop. then when we have to go to lambeau the kid has some cold weather experience.

i would not be opposed to bironas but he is older and there were starting to be some inconsistencies. granted the same can be said about hanson 50 yards and out but still i think i would go with the kid who might have a chance to be with us for a while.

plus jumping kickers worked for jimmy johnson that year in dallas it could work for us.

Freese is done from what I can see. Can't afford to lose games because we are stubborn. Can send him to the practice squad still I believe.


We need a veteran kicker who is accurate. Don't need a ton of distance as Martin can do the kickoffs.

over 80% every year of his career. Double digit hits the last 2 years from 40+. Never missed more than 5 FGs in a single season. Not the greatest but better than Freese and Akers by far.
