Now this is one boring WTA event. You have Caroline "moonballs" Wozniacki versus Simona "God help me" Halep. The winner to meet Petra "headcase" Kvitova. Now, that is backboard tennis at its worse.

Kvitova is not a backboard by any stretch. One of the bigger hitters in womens tennis. Not that it is saying much. Halep has been on a tear the last 4-6 months, but always comes up short against the top players. Kvitova (if she keeps her head on straight) should be able to walk through the final regardless of who she plays.

Well, Kvitova as usual is her headcase self being shellacked by Simona Halep. With 21 unforced errors so far in it is completely out of hand. Unbelievable, for such a high ranked player.

Yup, unfortunately that is how it goes. Need to keep the ball between the lines. Noone would bother playing if the person who hits the hardest wins every time.
