I don't understand how that can be a safety. A Patriots player fumbles it forward from the 2. A Colts player swats it through the endzone. 2 points and the ball back for the Colts? How does that work?

That was the best case scenario out of that IMO.

But unless it was deliberately batted forward, where it ends up is what matters.

I would take that safety everytime. Much better then a sure thing td
