You know, I haven't given it as much thought as you, but I can't help but feel like we are going to see something like that play too. I think Manning wants this more than he's ever wanted anything in his career.

I agree. Players have said all week that they haven't seen Manning quite as pumped up as he has been all playoffs. He knows this is his last chance and to me that makes him and the team a very dangerous group.

Manning picks up a helicopter first down. Hillman runs for 180 and a 70 yard plus TD :)

Yeah Yea Ya!

I've also heard that he's been uber-relaxed with the media and really taking it all in, as though this might be his last ride. I think all of this bodes well for the Broncos.

Good Lord almighty, I want this win!

You and me both. I saw a Boston guy predict the final score of 42-17. Outside of Denver just seems very few believe we have even a remote chance of winning. Would love to see their reaction if we won.

If Denver pulls this off and I feel more confident every day that they can, the guy I most want to see his reaction is Teddy Bruschi. They might want to put him on suicide watch if that happens. JK

I saw an NFL analyst predict Brady would have 467 passing yards. I would say that's a bold prediction but the thing about a bold prediction is it stands out. This prediction is pretty consistent with others I've seen. Maybe it'll happen and all the Boston prognosticators will have been right. If this is the case, hard as it'll be, the right thing to do will be to acknowledge the Pats were the better team. But if the Broncos win, I may dedicate Monday to reading and reveling in all the back peddling and lamenting.

Haha yeah probably no bigger NE homer out there than that guy. I mean I don't think I have heard him say a good thing about another team ever but the Patriots man they can do no wrong.

Yup lose with dignity if that happens and acknowledge hey the better team that day won. If they lose though man it will be fun to read not only on here but I might just actually go and listen to some Boston Sports Radio just to hear what they have to say. My guess is it will be either the officials were terrible, the Patriots lost more than the Broncos won, or that the NFL has rigged the game because they hate the Patriots.

Certainly. The Broncos won't get the credit they will have earned if they win. So I don't expect it. If they win the Super Bowl I won't give a toss who respects them and who doesn't. As for losing with dignity, we've done it before. Following the loss to the Seahawks I didn't see any Broncos fans making any excuses. Seahawks fans took being douchebags to new levels, but we took it on the chin and kept ourselves upright. A year later the Seahawks took some cheap shots at the Pats as the game wound down and the bitch-fest that ensued was awesome. This year after the Broncos beat the Patriots the Pats fans took being whiney little excuse making bitches to new levels. Their complaints about the officiating were hilarious considering how many holds they got away with. Had they called holding on half the plays it may have been an ass whooping. One PI call on Gronk (a legit call, BTW) and they cry about how effed up the crew was. Go figure. I do not expect them to win or lose with any class whatsoever (with some exceptions to the half a dozen or so regulars here who are actually good guys). It'll be a lot more pleasant to show everyone how the NFL's best fanbase celebrates wins with some class.

That`s a given alright. One thing about " most" Pat fans...they never run out of excuses. Lordy No!

Well some have already said on the General Board that the Broncos can't beat the Patriots that the Patriots can only beat themselves. So of course if they were to lose they have to figure out a way to justify such an atrocity happening. I think most of us on here know we could definitely lose this game and can find plenty of reasons why the Patriots would win. Not sure they have reached that point (This is not all Pats fans just a few).

All thru his career, Peyton has been the anointed one - the favorite in games, in media and among fans, and the guy who could light up the scoreboard and record books ..

I disliked him intensely when he was a Colt, and while I cheer for the laundry, it's been hard for me with him as a Bronco ...

I love players with limited skills who summon the wherewithal to be great at times ... but I could never rally behind a player that was emotionally fragile or soft ..

But these next two games ( optimistically speaking ), I will be his biggest fan

He is now the underdog - the guy who was humbled on and off the field, and then disrespected in the media ....

His arm is not what it was .. His body has been operated on, driven into the turf, and he can barely run ... For Peyton Manning to get a Super Bowl ring this time around, he will need to stare into the face of a game that has physically passed him by and win it with BALLS ...

I think he can do it ..... and if he does - if the team does - his legacy will be cemented as one of the all time greats - a QB who, despite the 40 year old surgically mended body, summoned the courage to win on the biggest stage of his life ...

GO PEYTON !!!

I have this feeling the O line is going to ball out. Mark Schlerth once again brutally attacked the line again today and predicted NE victory. I know he is up to old tricks and is challenging this line via planned degradation. Hope it helps. :)

I certainly would like that to be the final score. But in our favor. Seems odd that no one is giving any respect to the league's #1 defense.

The simple fact is the Pats with a healthy Edelman Gronk and Amendola have not lost since the Chiefs game in 2014. I believe that is the last time.

People say put pressure on Brady. Rather hard when he holds the ball for an average of 3.1 seconds.

Unless the Broncos can have some resemblance of a running game and pick first downs consistently (something they have not done all year) it is going to very hard Imo to keep up with the Pats.

Hoping they play out of their minds and the Pats have a bad day. Unfortunately I am not really expecting it.

Yeah, pretty cynical or negative, but that is how I am seeing right now.

Some stat about Brady facing #1 defenses 3 times in the playoffs and is 3-0
I'm just hoping for some mile high magic
Last time a team came into Denver with 5 straight afcc game appearance was oak in 77

20-17 Denver

The Broncos plus 3.5 seems like a very good bet to me. These Broncos will play it close - that is just - historically what they do - the Broncos are proven finishers - take the finishers at home.
