I could also see them doing a 1 for 1 swap - in the first year at least - with Nashville moving to the SE, Winnipeg going into the Central, and Minnesota staying put in the NW.

I think this might be a little more likely if they did an overhaul. ^

Then again, Bettman doesn't like to make the Pens travel, so maybe he'd move Phoenix to Cleveland and give Pittsburgh a new division with Buffalo, Cleveland, Columbus, and Philly.

I think you're right, but it's also what I use to think of the Caps related to Pittsburgh, Philly, and New York.

I don't want to play Nashville 6 times a year nor do I want to play in Winipeg 6 times a year, so I voted for the Jackets. Not to mention there are a few GNT titles that I could make with the BJs...

Looks good (with the inclusions of Montreal and Phoenix), but geographically you must swap Pittsburgh and Philly...so you get the Flyers back.

That ruins it for me though. The whole point is to get Philly out of the Atlantic. If your team hasn't beaten one of it's division rivals in regulation in like 6 years you would feel the same way.
