Never in my life have I given up on Nebraska

But this season is over. I don't care what bowl we go to. I don't care if we win or lose against Iowa. I don't care if we lose the bowl game, even if it's against Texas.

I've put up with this medicore shit for so many God damned years in a row now, and this time I'm done caring for the rest of this season. All I care about now is next season.........because I couldn't give two fucking shits if we win the fucking Insight Bowl. We've played in and won enough worthless bowl games.........I don't give a fuck anymore about them.

It won't hurt recruiting.......it won't help recruiting.......and it sure as shit won't do anything for our team's confidence going into next season, because one thing is for God damned sure about Bo Pelini coached football teams.........they don't ever build off of anything.

I will continue to root and cheer for Nebraska to win..........but I don't honestly care if we lose our last two games. And I don't give a fuck if you care that I don't care either.

The defense has been shocking to me this year for you guys. Coming into the year I figured the defense would be really good and the offense may struggle but it has not turned out that way. Other than the MSU game the defense has been bad, not even average but bad. Weird to see from Nebraska.

Im not shocked Nebraska lost. Michigan has some talent, but I am SHOCKED that they got handled like they did. I was not at all impressed with Michgan when I saw them in Iowa City.

Yes, Michigan got a few gift calls, but every mistake by us or beneficial call they got, they cashed everything in....

Michigan played a great game on both sides of the ball, and the score shows that....

And the worst part is that everything was falling into place for the huskers to go BCSing and all they had to do was win. Look at all the teams ranked ahead of them that have lost in the last two weeks.

I'm with JJM, I hope the huskers can win their remaining games, but I don't really care about the rest of this season. I'm now looking forward to see how we progress over the spring and see if it is the youth on the team this year or if really is a coaching thing. I guess time will tell.

And I disagree with this. I did not post yeaterday because I was fucking pissed. I don't remember being as pissed as this and I probably still shouldn't be posting because I anm still fucking pissed.

How the hell do we come out against decent teams one week and own them and get manhandled the next.

This season in a nutshell

UP Washington - controlled game
Down Wisconsin - looked like a bottom feeder FCS school against top 5 FBS.
WTF Down and UP Ohio State - 2 different teams in this game, one owned, one controlled
Up Michigan State - Owned them
Down Northwestern - Owned by below average team
Up - Penn State - Team up but some shut downs - go up 17-0 end up 17-14
Down - Michigan State - Bottom Feeder FCS school is back.


There is talent on this team. There is great talent on this team. We have seen glimpses of it. The fucking problem is no consistency on this team. And in my mind that points to coaching and nothing but coaching.
In year 4 even with tweaking and redesigning this is a huge red flag against the one responsible for putting this staff together.

We have had some ugly years lately and yes we are in better shape with Pelini than Callahan but Pelini does not get a free pass. We do not accept 9-3 & 8-4 teams year in year out. And when we get glimpses of greatness but always return to incompetence it makes it even worse
