Romo has had bad games before and been torched for it, but nothing like Im seeing and hearing today. Even the Pro Romo media guys are ripping him. This isnt good at all.

I live in Texas and heard some of this on radio this morning. I think Romo fatigue has set in among many fans and media types.

That said, some of the questions seem legit.

People are wondering if Romo has lost his fastball a little bit after yesterday and preseason. I can see the point. It seems he is not throwing it as hard, and when you combine that with his shaky decision making abilities, it's a big problem.

People are also noticing that he pointed a lot of fingers yesterday after those picks, which were obviously on him even if someone ran the wrong route or whatever. You don't throw into traffic like that. I think that went over poorly, judging from talk radio.

All of yesterdays ints hand nothing to do with his arm. It was his brain.

Yesterday was different than a lot of other games. Physically he was bad, mentally he was bad. The Cowboys should have been in that game, there were a number of positives. Romo was pretty much the reason they lost yesterday. It wasn't unlucky or him getting undue blame.

I didn't hear him say somebody ran the wrong route. He said it was bad decisions on his part. He took the blame from what I saw

Take away the 3 ints and Romo was 23/37 62% 281 yards with 1 TD

So how is that physical?

It was mostly mental mistakes yesterday.

He overthrew a number of guys, leading me to believe he didn't completely shake off the rust. I would chalk that up as a physical shortcoming rather than a mental lapse.

Those were two really bad decisions. Some are blaming his decision making on the third one- to me that one wasnt so terrible. Apparently he checked out of a run as well on 2nd and 1 and Im guessing he and Dez were the only ones that knew it.

As far as physical- other than the terrible decisions- I remember him overthrowing Beasley on a third and three. 3 INTs and pass to Beasley were the only real bad throws I rememeber

What about the heave to Harris in the 4th quarter? That was a horrible decision that luckily went Dallas' way.

I think that's it more than anything. The only 4 guys that have had less of these games in the last few years are Rodgers, Brady, P. Manning, and Rivers, yet you'd think Romo averaged 3 INTs a game with the coverage he gets.

In with you on his health too. While he made numerous mental mistakes out there, he looked off. It could just be rust I suppose, but there were a few too many passes that he didn't exactly zip in there to his receivers. It'll be interesting to see if that continues next week.

Your damn right.

It was 75% mental mistakes 25% rust is as far as I could go.

Even the guest host on "Rome" is eating Romo's lunch! I'm almost starting to feel sorry for the guy! The 2nd & 3rd segments were almost devoted to Dallas even though Rice should be the big news of the day! Like some, I don't understand why The Cowboys are even spoken about until Thanksgiving? This fuels Jerry's ego that even with a losing product, The Dallas Cowboys still make NEWS! Moronic!

How many yards was the completely up for grabs throw that Harris outfought the defneder for? 50 something? I don't go by stats, I go by my eyes and Romo sucked yesterday. But, I disagree that it hasn't been this bad before. I think he has had worse games and bounced back. If he has 3 in a row like this I'll worry. But as of right now it was IMO a good QB who had a very, very bad game...

I'm more concerned that he still doesn't understand that he needs to stop audibling out of plays just because they put 8 in the box or have a defender in the gap we are running in or some other stupid panic reason. Or that he holds the ball too long or that he doesn't seem to recognize where the safeties are. But the talent to play the game at a high level s I'm sure still there.

Im concerned with the passing offense as a whole. Did you watch that drive with Dez out? I know we scored but it took 4 ever. The 56 yard pass Harris caught was over 3 guys. T Williams cant seem to do that with 1. Mostly Im worried about Witten. I noticed we worked 2 WRs out today. Street doesnt know the plays and Im not sure he is ready either. If 83 and 82 cant beat single coverage then Romo will force it to Dez.

I think everyone else would have been fine if Romo played better. How is a receiver supposed to look good when the QB can't throw the ball accurately or to the right guy...

You sound like you did the day after Romo's 5 Int game when you blamed everyone else but Romo for those picks.
