Of course they have to put it in my brother's name since my nephew turns 7 today.

Everyone who bought a ticket to the race was entered into the drawing for 10 mustangs.

Awesome birthday present!

Is you brother gonna be nice and mostly just keep it for him without putting many miles on it?

That would be sweet to roll around in when he turns 16!

Way better then the Datsun junkers I was riding in back in the day.....

I seriously doubt that my brother will drive it often. He works for the family business and has a company car (brand new Expedition) and his wife has a Maxima.

It also wouldn't surprise me at all if they sold the car and put the money into a savings account.

Let's hope so.

A 'coolness' of 9 year old mustang (read: not very cool at all) isn't worth the opportunity cost of not selling.

Awesome win though!

Good point and very true.

The money gained from selling the mustang could be used for a 529 college savings account. In that time with interest made on the money he should now be able to afford at least two semesters in college. lol

I certainly hope they sell it back to the dealership. Even if they take a "hit" and not get full price for it, he'll still get thousands to put into a college or car fund for the future. If he really wants a Mustang, between my father, and my 2 other brothers, we have 4 that aren't being driven that he could get in the future.

(2) '65 289 coupes - one of them recently restored
(1) '66 289 coupe
(1) '96 Cobra - probably way too much car as a first car, but something I wouldn't mind him borrowing after he has some experience.
