One thing I know, don't want to go with Stafford. So for now I swapped Dalton for Stafford. I can then consider picking up Mullens. Trade deadline has passed. Couldn't swing a deal without bending over.

My Stafford related mistake was drafting him round 7 in my 14 team $ league because I wanted to diversify a bit. I own Mahomes almost everywhere else. And he slipped to round 13 in that draft.

Same here. Took him way too early because QB’s were coming off the board all of a sudden. I should’ve just made the decision to stream QB’s at that point.

Yeah. In 12 team leagues it is really a mistake to invest in the QB position on draft day.

Yeah, this is only my second time to play and I didn’t know any better. I’m leading the league right now so I’ve had some luck and didn’t mess up too badly, but I could’ve had more depth at WR or RB.

Mullens could easily have an Alex Smith vs TB game. Those other 2 have explosive upside. Mullens is just a guy. Yes, he has a good matchup but the ceiling just isn't high enough for me.

If TB manages to limit Kittle, Mullens may not have anybody to go to. This looks like a Matt Breida blow up game to me.

Winston was who I originally tried to claim but lost out on ( see post 35 in this thread. Lamar was not and is not on WWs. Waiver reset every week with the team with the worse record being able to claim who ever they desire on WW that can be several players ( usually they claim several), then when he is done the team with the next worse record gets his turn at cherry picking the WW and so on. Really sucks.

Yes Mullens is just a guy like you said, which is why I was hesitant to choose him. However my choices were meager. I had Stafford and knew I wanted to dump him. Once I lost out on Winston, I felt Dalton and Mullens were the best available.Here's the QBs available this morning.

I would actually go Eli out of this list.

The Eagles are down all of their top 5 DBs and they weren't a great pass defense unit before that.

I think he actually has a better matchup AND he has ODB, Barkley and Shepard to throw to. The floor for Eli is similar to Mullens' floor, each could face plant. I just see Manning with a lot more upside.
