Was some speculation that the team who traded for 1.12 was going after Mahomes, he didn't but shows Mahomes is on their mind.

What would you have advised?

Without knowing your league, other players, rules, etc, I take the trade. If you can even just come close with your 2nd round pick to what you would have got in the first it's a walk away win and it just seems a few of those mid first round picks fall apart every year anyway. Plus with all of those picks through round 4 you can fill out a roster even if there is a run at a particular position that would have otherwise left you making a "forced" pick.

it was too early... but the way i like to compare is whether i prefer the player i got to the players taken after me... I much prefer Mahomes over kelce...

i wouldn't... you already got the QB... and just because you have 6 picks in the top 4 rounds, doesn't change the fact you still have 8 picks in the top 8 rounds... point is, i would not pass on the 2nd RB and your top 2 WRs...

My pick was next and two of the three TEs worth having are gone. The guy who took two of them is renown for lopsided trades in his favor. So I decided to go ahead and take Kittle now. Going to leave me weak at WRs and RBs at least I own one good one).
Figure I can always trade for a decent WR if I need to and take some chances with RB2 with a few of them. Thing is it's hard to trade for one of those top 3 TEs. A WR not so much.

Well I really wanted one of those top three TEs, so after two of them were off the board had to take Kittle with my next pick.
