As a devoted Husker fan, I purchased tickets to the first annual Big Ten Title Game the morning they came on sale. What are the chances Nebraska is in this game? In my opinion, we can beat anyone in our division. The question comes when we consider our out of division opponents. We obviously play one of the roughest schedules in the Big Ten, and that has me worried. However, I do think we can make the Conference Championship Game this year. What are your thoughts?

This is a perfect place to speculate about practice reports, injuries, etc. I will update when I know more.

Nice. I like it. We don't know anything until Nebraska at least plays Washington.

It all depends on our consistency this year. We have the tools in place to run the table but we all know we have been there before but didn't do it.

I think if our offense can come in on a weekly basis and move the ball and keep the ball then we have a chance at running the table.

Realistically though I think if we do what I said we will lose at least one possibly two between Wisky, tOSU, Penn State.

I think we can go into the CCG with two losses.

The most likely loss will be Wisky which could be great news because they are the most likely opponent in the B1G CCG also. As unlikely as it is to beat the same opponent twice in one year our odds will be better to win the B1G if this happens.

Things we control will make the difference between getting there or not.

Turnovers, Penalties (on and off the field)

We were in every game last year with an "O" that could not put together 7 plays in a row without having a stupid mental mistake or issue bite us in the ass.

Just my opinion...

Player incentives should be what determines if we make it or not. Can we provide our players with enough free tattoos and other neat stuff to make them happy enough to play good?

Time will tell

Whatever it takes :thrasher:

Honestly speaking though, we are the front-runners in the Legends division. Looking at that division, really Michigan State is the only team that scares me. Cousins is one hell of a QB and veteran leader, and he has playmakers around him, and a pretty decent coach.

Nebraska needs to make sure they win at home this year. This is something that Bo's teams have had weird issues with obviously since he's been here. If we win our home games this year (Ohio State, Michigan State, Northwestern, Iowa).........we will be in.

I think maybe the pressure on the players is almost even worse at home. Maybe that's why they play better away?

Or maybe it's the cane wavers in the stands who tell me to sit down and be quiet when I'm screaming my ass off on 3rd down.

The entire student section should dress up as old people for a game, but continue to be as rowdy as usual.........maybe then the other blue hairs in the stadium will see how it should be.

As bad as our offense has been the past few years I just don't see it all miraculously turning around in just one offseason, would be nice though, Ill hide and watch

I was reading this article today and this little piece of it had me gettin all excited.......

While many people outside the program are taking a see-it-to-believe-it approach when it comes to the offense's progress, you can count junior linebacker Graham Stoddard among those who believe that unit will be a force this fall.

Stoddard sees that attacking style every day and finds that trying to match up with some of the players on offense can be a real challenge.

"I've been saying to some of my buddies and stuff, I really feel sorry for any defense that has to defend against our offense," Stoddard said. "You're talking about speed. Ameer (Abdullah). (Aaron) Green. You've got Kenny Bell at wide receiver. You've got Rex Burkhead in the backfield. You've got Kyler Reed at tight end. You have Jamal (Turner), you have Brandon Kinnie. I mean, really?

"If I'm a defensive coordinator, I'm going to cry myself to sleep at night because that's a lot of speed and lot of talent on the field at one time."
