If I'm being honest I don't see this one going well for us. Earlier this week I said I think it will go about like the Oregon game. Indiana is far better than Oregon though, and I think the fact that we're on the road is going to be too much for us to handle. I have a feeling our secondary gets rather torched tomorrow, and Tommy makes probably 2 really costly mistakes that we can't recover from.

With a sad heart, I predict:

Indiana - 42
Nebraska - 30

I seriously have a terrible feeling that it's gonna be one of those games where Indiana doesn't punt at all.

Nebraska 37

Indiana 34

After pondering this, Indiana does not have that potent of an offense this year. But I posted this score before so I will stick with it. Indiana has not scored more than 34 this year. Nebraska has not scored less than 24.

I leave real effing early tomorrow to drive there. Unknown if I drive back tomorrow night, still thinking about that.

Huskers by 4. It will be a great game in B town, it will be interesting to see a full (i think it is close to sell out) stadium there. Rarely happens.

5 sections HIGH AVAILABILITy just about ALL seats can be purchased
7 sections good availability 1/3 to 1/2 seats available
21 sections single seats available or they are in bad sections but you can get two

If I am reading my ticket right, I should be around the 2nd row, 32 yard line behind the Indiana bench.

I may eat my words for this but I've felt stronger and stronger as the week went on. Maybe because of all that negative energy @Jack_John_Mark has been sucking in all week I'm getting an excess of positive energy but I feel it. Huskers are coming off a bye, they're going to want to make a statement regarding this line. Not saying it will be a blow out. The score may not show it but game will never be in doubt. Fourth quarter will seal the deal.

I'm not bringing negative energy. I'm trying to be realistic. People pretend like the names of these programs matter. As if Nebraska should win because they're playing Indiana. This isn't the 90's. We have to find a way to move the ball against a much improved defense with Tommy running on a bum ankle, Ozigbo not at 100%, and Cethan and Westerkamp out.

Ohio State last week scored 3 TDs off of a botched fumble call inside the 15 yard line by the refs, an interception where the receiver let the ball go through his hands inside the 15 yard line, and a 92 yard kickoff return. JT Barrett completed 9 of 23 passes in that game.

If we roll tomorrow it has nothing to do with the fact that it's Indiana. It will be the fact that we are the real deal. This Indiana team can straight up play football now, let me tell you.

Don't get me wrong here......I dream of a big win. I spend every hour of every day of my life picturing the Huskers winning.

I'm just trying not to get ahead of myself this time. We've all been burnt too many times in the past decade or so.

Some of us got to that point much sooner than you. It is called Wisdom.(which is a nice way of saying, "being old").

I have been thinking that I might be needing to change my signature. The force of the kool-aid is strong. But I will wait for the end of the season.

BTW Nebraska Women's Volleyball revenged the loss to Ohio State last night. Big Ten Women's Volleyball is the best in the country. Eight out of the last ten titles belong to the B1G. The same as football and the SEC.

Uh, guess I had some wrong info. I should have headed down for game.

They also had a pick 6 called back for a penalty, and ended the game running the clock out at IU's 10 yard line. Barrett played awful and OSU has a young team that probably has a tough time getting up for IU. Urban's gameplan was as vanilla as can be. Outside of OSU (L), IU's schedule has been:

FIU (2-4) W
Ball State (3-3) W
Wake Forest (5-1) L
MSU W (2-3 and looking BAD)

Can we lose if we don't play well? Sure. We lost to Purdue last year, so we've proven we can lose to anybody. But the way people are talking about this game, you'd think the Crimson Tide were lining up on the other side of the field.

Oh I am giving Indiana the credit they deserve. They are much improved but they are not a juggernaut. They haven't played anyone except tOSU who they played hard but it definitely was an off day for tOSU and at the end of the day they still lost by 21.
But I feel comfortable because of what I have seen from Nebraska not because I don't give Indiana their due respect. Though I will admit we are untested too and Tommy's ankle worries me I still think we will have this game in hand. Riley has picked a great group of coaches and they are building a team that is having fun. This year I've seen multiple weapons, determination, leadership on the field and coaching that makes great adjustments.
And I apologize if my comment came across wrong. The comment about the negative energy was in fun, nothing meant by it.
