If the one's from 2010 red-shirted, they'd be seniors now. The 2011 TE walk-ons that red-shirted would be juniors now.

With that said, Bama would put out an ad on craigslist just to get rid of him if they had him. He's no all-star. Maybe he'll become one. I hope he does.

Scholarship athletes at Iowa St or Ohio U. That's who gets the best of the rest who don't walk on at Nebraska. North Dakota St. too.

Then again Bo likes him some 'best of the rest' top mid major prospects, so I could be wrong on that but I doubt it.

No way all 3 get offers from Nebraska if Barnee isn't a corch here.

Well I'll tell ye all this much right now.......Ameer makes everyone on that Offense look better than they are.

He carries tacklers, breaks tackles, squeezes through holes when there are no holes.

How many dadburned times does Abdullah have a semi-truck sized hole to run through like teams like Bama and Oregon create? Rarely does he have these. Maybe a couple times all year in fact.

Back in the 90's we'd open up massive holes on 3 out of every 4 downs.

The cotton kids suck. Ben was average at best, the rest aren't good. R A is spot on with this, the only reason they got scholarships is because their dad is a coach. Don't lower your standards to the Cotton kids.

Off the top of my head, Herian was the last great TE we had (sad to see how he never really recovered from his injury) Mike McNeill was pretty good recently too. Go back even further you have some real tight ends like Johnny Mitchell and Tracey Wistrom.

Aint never had one in class.. Ben was the best blocker on our team and won us football games, even made NFL camps



But he wasnt worthy of a scholarship, nope we need more guys like Max Pirman

The past few years Nebraska has been an upper tier mid-major at best.

Hopefully this year all those redshirts can turn the corner and break the 9/10 win, 4 loss cycle. 11 wins would be a Top 15 finsh easily. Maybe even Top 10.
