Nebraska is probably going to need at least 9 conference wins to even be in the discussion here. .500 ball from here out puts them at 10-8 in conference, 16-14 overall heading into the B1G tournament.

That's a LOT of work left to do IMO. I really only see 3 or 4 more games that they SHOULD win going forward. Yes, I know they just knocked of IU and Maryland on the road but I'm still not convinced. Talk to me in February.

This is the kind of thing that frustrates me about being stuck in the B1G West in football.

I would so much rather play extremely tough competition every year and Nebrasketball is a prime example why.

1. You're gonna win some of those huge games
2. They're gonna get way more coverage. Like a win against a #4 Iowa doesn't equate to a win over a #4 Michigan or Ohio State or even Michigan State/Penn State.

I believe there is not one team in the B1G that is a for sure loss for us.

Purdue will be one tough matchup.

Win at home and that will pretty much take care of it.
