NU's worse offensive stat is their "Passing Offense" ranked 62nd nationally. However, that # is very misleading. That # is derived primarily from number of attempts and yardage gained (fewer attempts = less yardage). NU isn't going to look impressive there.

The stat that carries more weight is "Passing Efficiency". NU is ranked 12th nationally and Taylor completes better than 70%.

Note: Those are week 3 stats and do not include the FCS #'s

They don't suck (overall), but they're no Bama.

Nebraska has struggled up front offensively the last couple years when facing good rushing defenses. Wisky's rushing defense is #13 nationally and NU hasn't faced an opponent this year with that #.

Nebraska has struggled up front defensively against mobile QB's. Wisky doesn't have the traditional mobile QB that has given Nebraska troubles.

I think Wisconsin is always gonna be a difficult game.

I look at them as kind of our new Colorado. Lots of similarities.

Poor recruiting, want to be us, classless fans, prick of a coach etc.

They're always gonna be the feisty ankle biter to Nebraska.

We will always out-recruit them, we will always have better facilities, fan support, tradition and coaching, but they will play us tough, occasionally beat us, and on rare occasions blow us out.

I don't think you'll see a score like last year any time soon though. Russell Wilson aint walking through that door.

Oh and don't forget the "Boulder syndrome". Once we are on like a 5 game win streak vs them they will start to say "well our city is so much better than yours" and "We have better things to do than go to football games"

I see Wisconsin as more like Missouri.

Iowa (being the last game of the season) is more like Colorado. Just when you think NU's got things locked up, they have an opportunity to play spoiler.

I plan to watch the game out here in bean town and have always enjoyed Nebraska but the last few years your coaching staff doesn't seem to make half time adjustments very well and your quarter back seems to get rattled in big games like UCLA. i hope Nebraska wins but I got go with Wisconsin in a close one 24 to 21.

The problem with Tim Beck (our 2nd year OC) has always been in late-tight-games he feels the urge to call 10 passing plays in a row when we have plenty of time to just run the ball/our offense and take what the defense is giving instead of trying to force a big play.

You can only get burned so many times before you realize that pan is hot.
