This is a very nice pick up. He is the brother of Romeo Okwara. He is suppose to be better then his brother. 6'4 210LBs. He will need to gain Weight to stay at DE. If not he can be moved to OLB. He is a strong pass rusher. He had 90 tackles and 10 sacks last year.

ND class is now ranked at 27. Went up 10 spots because of this move. He is the 2nd highest rank player in this class so far.

The only site that doesn't have a rating on him is ESPN the rest all have him as a 4 star player. I think he plans to add weight and stay at DE.

Yeah ... I saw his measurements on my BR today. Kinda light for a DE. Gonna either need to beef it up for DE play or get ready to play OLB as mentioned above.

Glad to see the pickup though!

I always thought we should have held Romeo out his freshman year. He was so young, another year would have helped him greatly. I still think Romeo will have a great season this year. If his brother is more talented that's good news.

I think that was the plan originally, but had to burn his redshirt due to low numbers on D line. He was really young too. I don't think he turned 18 until the end of his freshman year.

It's tough to ask a 16 or 17 year old to compete at a high level against kids 4 or 5 years older than him, very few kids could do that maybe Lebron James type of athletes which are few and far between.
