Its not that Watson is blaming them. Its the accusers going after the Texans for enabling him. They are saying that the Texans knew what he was doing and did nothing to stop him. The Texans also have deeper pockets.

That works out nicely if so.

Hmm. Would kind of work out from a cap scenario.
No doubt. If we don't spend any more this season we'd carry over $40 mil (more if we deal baker) plus another $43 mil comes off next year (Watson's current 2023 base)

Don't think he can pull off that he was already punished. Unless he agreed to taking a financial hit on his deal from last year. I'm warming to the idea of him sitting out a year if the Browns can somehow convince Baker to suit up.
I agree hard to say he was punished when he was paid.

I wonder if this is just posturing by the NFL asking for a year, more than a year, indefinite, etc. Then if he gets less or even lot less they can let it go and say something like "we didn't feel it was right to overturn the ruling of a federal judge appointed by both parties".
