Dan Patrick had some potential DeShaun Watson news.

He didn't name the source, but said it's one he trusts. His source said that the NFL is starting at a full year suspension and mandatory counseling. Apparently the reason the NFL is dragging it's feet on punishment is because they are concerned that they will hand down say, a 12 game suspension, and then have more accusations come out. The NFL just wants to be done with this.

Interestingly, the source also said that if Watson had settled with the accusers immediately, he may not have received any punishment.

He definitely fucked up not putting it to bed quicker on the civil front.

Big game today @thunderc.
I’m ready, going to be a good series. Ole Miss was one of the last teams to even make the post season but they are playing well now too.

Well mostly certainly the NFLPA will appeal to the full year and use the owners as an excuse to fight it down. I think it very well start at one year but after the appeal 10-12 or something like that. The NFL has really shit the bed from an owners’ discipline standpoint. I guess we will see

It’s not going to be under a year, they are going to go for an indefinite suspension that has a one year minimum. In my opinion it will not be bargained under a year and he may be lucky to only get a year.

For awhile I was thinking 8-10 but it most likely is a full year and with an appeal under a year. Probably 12 or something along those lines. It wont be a full year after suspension, Goodell will get sued after the way he handled Kraft and other owners situations

Full year after appeal under a year. Goodell would take so much heat from the NFLPA. They keep talking indefinite, really stupid- no way that happens

If they give him a year or more and it stays that way...I agree, the players union will be all over Goodell because of Snyder and Kraft. If memory serves, the owners are supposedly held to a higher standard. But that's not how they've been dealt with.

Harper can play.

You probably need to get him a nutritionist and assign a assistant coach/g league staff to stay on top of his fitness because he's husky.

But, he could be a rotation guy one day.
