It doesn't take much to blow up a closer's ERA. A few bad blown saves will do it.

True, but for the past few years, if he came into a game with a lead of more than 1 run...you could pretty much put money down that he would give up all but 1 run of that lead and sometimes all of it. Very few times where he would just slam the door shut.

Uggh he has blown so many games and high ERA. He has the most saves. That’s like saying Kenley Jansen is a top 5 closer. The guy blows games but his offense bails him out and he gets the win. Rogers 2.79 ERA. Jansen’s is over 3.

I would say Hader is an easy #1. Clase and Holmes both top 3.

Going to be livid if the yanks give Chapman back the closer job when he's off the IL

It takes a few episodes to get where you can even understand them lol. Probably not for everyone but I have really liked it.

My wife has watched Stranger Things, all 4 seasons up to date, and I never watched an episode so we she is rewatching it with me. I never gave it a chance before but on episode 4 and I'm getting into it. After this I gotta force her to watch Ozark bc she wasn't interested and never gave it a chance.

so Alvin Kamara is facing FELONY battery charges---- and a grand jury wouldnt even charge Watson with a misdemeanor---- Kamara beats the shit outta someone- Watson does nothing violent- doesnt force anyone to do anything- but possiby faces a suspension 3 times longer. How does this make sense?

It may seem like that, but the stats don't bear that out. He had a 2.22 ERA last year despite 5 blown saves and 4 losses. 2020 he had limited innings pitched and 2019 was a down year for sure though.

One maddening thing was his inability to hold runners once they did reach base though. So deliberate...

That 2.22 is the only time his ERA has been below 3 since 2017.

Dan Patrick had some potential DeShaun Watson news.

He didn't name the source, but said it's one he trusts. His source said that the NFL is starting at a full year suspension and mandatory counseling. Apparently the reason the NFL is dragging it's feet on punishment is because they are concerned that they will hand down say, a 12 game suspension, and then have more accusations come out. The NFL just wants to be done with this.

Interestingly, the source also said that if Watson had settled with the accusers immediately, he may not have received any punishment.
