We will see eventually I guess. If he gets punished at all Goodell can do whatever he wants though and there are a lot of owners unhappy with the Browns.
Yep.

Watson will appeal and it will most likely be reduced.

Does any team have a better 1-2 punch in the American League than the Guardians with Bieber and McKenzie?

Cole and Cortes is good- but honestly- I am not all in on Cortes- soft throwing 5' 10" lefty....

McKenzie is just a beast. His last 3 starts before the break were awesome. 21 IP, 0 ER, 23k's.....including 7 shut out on 1 hit vs. the Yankees. He is still learning- and has had some bad HR luck....

Guards have 2 great young pitching prospects on the way too in Williams and Espino. I think its between him and Grayson Rodriguez on the Orioles on who is the best pitching prospect in the minors.

Clase is just filthy......such a bargain too- 5 year 25M extension doesnt even kick in until next year.

Guardians got him by trading the last year on Corey Kluber's deal.

unlikely he appeals.

It is likely the NFL gives him a longer suspension than the arbiter.

Unless the arbiter surprises everyone and gives him 10+ games- I think he just accepts it.

yahI can see the case- though I like McKenzie more than Valdez. Valdez is another one of those pitchability guys....5' 11"....not a great K rate....not an especially hard thrower.

I think the vast majority of evaluators would take McKenzie over Valdez. Him and Cortes are actually awfully similar makeup wise.

the catcher position is so bad in baseball right now. Jose Trevino is an all star...gotta be kidding me.

Clase closes the game... 10 pitches- 3 strikeouts. in the All Star game. Best closer in the AL. Maybe the game. Hader has looked more mortal of late.

Is there any other poster who uses this much hyperbole to Jack off to a .500 team?

The AL Central is a pretty shitty Division to be honest.
It’s arguably the worst division in baseball. They have 2 of the 3 worst teams in the American League and among the 6 division leaders the Twins have the lowest winning percentage. They only have one team in the division that has a payroll higher than the league average (CWS).

Cleveland likely not a playoffs team. Wildcard spots likely going to be 2 AL East teams and the Mariners or all 3 AL East teams
