Kluber, Clevinger, Bieber- do you want to know what all 3 had in common? NONE of them were projected as anything more than back end starters.

What else do they have in common beside- when the Indians acquired them that they were thought to be back end starters? That the Indians superior development staff took them and made them into something greater than what everyone else thought they were.

The Padres had given up on Quintrell- who was not part of their rotation and was instead lost in their bullpen. Get to Cleveland and he is now an extremely consistent starting pitcher.

Prediction stats spread evenly over all 30 teams do not account for this type of information - that you also clearly lack.

I don’t pretend to know baseball as well as you do. But I do have understanding of advanced stats and analytics.

Everyone who knows baseball stats knows that ERA by itself doesn’t tell the full story. Doesn’t account for defense, batted ball luck amid many other factors.

I am not going to take the time to look up all the advanced stats because I really don’t care enough.

It is a semantical argument that won’t ever be proven right anyway, unless the Guardians ACTUALLY contend this year.

Because .542 winning percentage doesn’t get that respect from me.

So you can crow all you want about a meaningless back and forth from who knows when.

But it won’t distract from you being heinously wrong again.

Seems like maybe you aren’t intelligent enough to talk basketball with me.
