Well, how many games did he miss because of Covid?
1 game. Had he been vaxxed, he could've been cleared in time to play with some negative tests (tested positive on Wed, game on Sunday). Since he wasn't, 10 days out.

He had multiple violations of protocol however. The lying and violations are worse than being unvaccinated, as they put others at risk of entering protocol.

There have been players that missed games because of Covid positive tests, that were (presumably vaxxed since it's reported 90% of the league at least were vaxxed). The logic you used further proves that the policies in-place lack complete logic. A negative Covid test after the fact whether you're vaxxed or not should be moot.

...and most leagues are trending towards getting rid of that distinction. This season however, his decision impacted his team.

You still have to take a Covid test to validate that you're free of the virus. In the end, it came down to whether Rodgers was vaccinated or not, and he was still afforded that right.

Huh? Kind of was because of that game they made the switches.
Meant not as much as this Bills discussion is going around. Because I certainly don't remember it being talked about nearly as much...

Also I believe the current set of overtime rules were in effect then as they are now...

From Brian Windhorst

Cavs were given a 9m disabled player exception today because of Rubio's season ending injury. It can be used to go after a player with one year left on a contract. And he said Cavs might be interested in Eric Gordon. League exec's think they'll go after Dennis Schroder. Thoughts?

Yeah I posted it earlier, Schroder would fit into the DPE and Gordon would fit under Rubio's entire salary so he would be traded. Fine with either

Wouldn't mind adding Schroeder. I could also see them just moving Rubio and his actual expiring deal.

I've watched most of the Celtics game this season. They aren't going anywhere. And there's no reason why he wouldn't help what's a depleted Cavs backcourt.

Would they like to send Brown over, too? We could throw in the rights to Ira Newble:noidea:

Brian Flores would be a really smart hire for a lot of teams, but especially the Saints.....after losing Payton.
