lol
Sure, that's the reason. Because this thing has never been political.
You're a hypocrite on this...just admit it and move on.
It’s very much an evolving situation, I just have no time for making it political as it should not be. I agree we are getting to the point where we need to change course a bit but with government things take time.Care to talk about the multitude of countries that have lifted mandates on anything Covid? The Biden Administration literally just halted monoclonal antibodies citing an independent study done by a rival to the company, and pushed it through that halted treatments in Florida; treatments that helping out vaccinated people as well. The move makes absolutely zero sense and you can't site because it doesn't help against Omicron, because Pfizer's own CEO literally said the vaccine does nothing against that variant as well, yet, last I checked the vaccine still is something you can take.
I think it’s wrong that Ortiz got in just because he is known as a nice guy.So trash
I was very much not going to be one of the trailblazers with the vaccine. Not sure when you got it but some diligence is respectable.
I'm also still on the fence with the booster. Had delta been a few months later I'd have prob gotten it.
It is the politicians fault that they made it political. Didn’t have to be.
We are 100% in agreement on this. DC needs an enema.
'bout damn time...Nice to see you two finally agree
This. If PED use is disqualifying then so be it. But don’t pick and choose. That’s ass. I don’t think it should disqualify anybody. Why make these players pay for the sins of baseball? Major League Baseball had no problem riding the wave that brought people back after the strike following McGwire and Sosa chase 61 HRs. When it was convenient for baseball they turned the other way and ignored it. Now the best hitter and pitcher of my generation will never be in the Hall of Fame (Clemens)I think it’s wrong that Ortiz got in just because he is known as a nice guy.
I don’t think they shouid let any of them in, they cheated the game.This. If PED use is disqualifying then so be it. But don’t pick and choose. That’s ass. I don’t think it should disqualify anybody. imagine being in Cooperstown NY with a young fan just learning about the sport. You explain to that fan what the game is all about. Here are his questions:
Where is the guy who has the most hits in his career? He isn’t in the Hall of Fame.
Where is the guy who hit the most of those home run things? He isn’t in the Hall of Fame.
Holy shit I love thisFocus needs to be on antibodies. Not the vax
Get the people that need the vax taken care of, then they and the rest of us can live a good life. Always gonna be freak (small %) things that happen. People gonna live life scared to death? Oh that sounds fun
If you get sick stay home. Like most people always have
Maybe take government out of it at this pointIt’s very much an evolving situation, I just have no time for making it political as it should not be. I agree we are getting to the point where we need to change course a bit but with government things take time.
And while I disagree I can accept that if it’s the standard. I don’t like the inconsistencyI don’t think they shouid let any of them in, they cheated the game.

I guess I’m most pissed at the guys that were already in when they pulled this shit, like Clemons and Bonds. The problem with that is that MLB knew what was going on and didn't choose to do anything about it until they felt they had the fans back. Can't spend years looking the other way and then suddenly decide to start cracking down when it's convenient.
The Hall of Fame, for lack of a better phrase, tells the story of baseball. You can't tell the story of baseball without the "steroid era". I say, let them in, but include their suspected steroid use.
Another issue, imo, is that several of these guys never tested positive.
