In fairness, they acted like they were going to give him a while to grow into the position and canned him after 1 season.

It sounds like they were until they became a dumpster fire the last month of the season

This.

Same with KC in Atlanta.....he didn't run the Pistol offense in Minnesota.

You can run the pistol with anything

It’s mathematically more efficient than takin the snap under center

Espn the magazine did a feature about it years ago

You get the ball to the rb faster on a run

You get more time to see the defense vs dropping back on a pass

It’s versatile

It’s just a snap style/formation vs an offensive system

I'm familiar with it. UCLA ran it under a previous HC (forgot who, cannot remember shit nowadays)....think it's more prevalent in college than the pros though.

No.

Just draft Sanders and have him sit behind Watson next season until the next time he gets hurt or benched.

Stock up picks for the 2027 draft. The Browns won’t do that bc they still believe in Watson or they are just trying to save themselves.

My take is sell off the entire ol and let his brains get beat in until he quits/retires gives up money

Bitonio is still good but older. Won’t get anything for me.
Teller maybe a 3rd.
Wills sucks is gone.
Conklin isn’t worth shit and he is very injury prone.
Dawand Jones, a bright spot, but already very injury prone.

Better get it on your contract then. I’m sure this is a situation where someone just didn’t like how he went about some things and the direction. I’m sure he got a hefty buyout. He will land on his feet I’m sure.
All the local guys get it and the fans. This is a case of the national media being clueless compared to local guys.

Trade 3 1st rounders (even if we get back Browns 1st)? Nah. Nobody that makes me go crazy about trading up. I actually wouldn't mind trading the #6 pick down to #8-9 if another team wants to move up and snag a player on their big board they really interested in.

Unfortunately, the Raiders aren't just a QB away.....need to upgrade the OL that regressed, add a #1 WR, and tinker with the defense a little bit. Add somebody in the secondary, a CB most likely.

Fucking McDaniels is like an STD, the gift that keeps on giving. Releasing Carr.....dumbass.

I'd try to trade for JJ or Milton before giving up that much for Sanders.

The Jets interviewing Brian Flores today, Ryan on Tuesday and this is in addition to.....Josh McCown, Joe Brady, Aaron Glenn, Brian Griese, Vance Joseph, Matt Nagy, Ron Rivera, Bobby Slowik, Arthur Smith, and Mike Vrabel.

LOL.

Stay away from Joe Brady please. I hope QB coach Ronald Curry has been studying up, he might get promoted if/when Brady gets signed away.

I don't know why these in-season interviews are allowed. Distracting from the job at hand.

Same with dc

Mayo was a great dc

Pats d was good last year

As hc it was a dumpster fire

That's the NFL logic that I'll never understand: promotion away from your strength. Why not just pay your coordinator positions more and keep them where they are already great? The head coach is just a rah-rah management figurehead position.
