People are going to watch the NFL football no matter what. They don't need Brady to help any ratings

There's isn't a TV ratings issue in this sport
And yet, this happened, and not because Brady is better than Olson

Romo was so much better early on than Brady is in my opinion.
Yeah at first wasn't everyone super impressed by Romo right from the jump? Like he would call out what the play would be before the snap often?

He def was but my bigger point is Brady winning superbowls shouldn't guarantee him shit outside of a job.

Even in the nfl we still see guys hitting instead of wrapping up. Bucs just got a td because of it.

I agree 100 percent

Could have easily started him on the B team which would guarantee him a playoffs game or even went to a 3 man booth if they insisted on him being with the A team. Bigger point here is the Olsen demotion was garbage. Best in the business at his job and gets demoted for no reason

It’s extremely difficult to play that way as long as Detroit played it. Then you start getting into 5 games series, it’s doable. Extremely difficult in a short 7 games series. 4 games in 5 days. A teams’ BP just can’t do it for so long and constantly. We saw the DBacks do it a lot last year. We saw CLE do it when they were one game away from winning it all. The Bauer injury killed them and they wore down at end of that series.
Possible but extremely difficult. I think even if Detroit wins that it is extremely unlikely they survive NY. It’s not like CLE’s odds are much better but if Boyd and Cobb can give them something it will help.

Detroit was essentially throwing out Skubal and then LRP’s and BP. Kudos to them. We’ve seen it done before but I don’t remember I witnessed anything to that extent for that period of time. Crazy
absolutely...props to them for the reg. season and taking us to the brink.

Guessing we go cobb, Bibbee, Boyd games 1-3? No clue who the choice would be for game 4. williams or maybe even Lively? If pitching a shutout like Boyd was against NY have to let the starter go longer than 2 innings I think....again I say this realizing they have a lot more info than I know of or care to look.

Hate to say it but think Noel has played himself off the roster next round. Not sure who replaces him.

Notre Dame plays their 2nd best game of the year and win 49-7

Drops 1 spot in the polls
stanford any good? It's surprising but not shocking I guess.

Admittedly while I think OSU should have dropped to 4 or 5 thought it would be lower.

No I'm just not a fan of dropping teams when they have a dominant performance. Could have swapped ND and Tennessee IMO

Tennessee looked like ass a 2nd straight week

I guess it can happen if a team behind them beats a really good team.....but that didn't happen so agree.

Well, I guess Watson played well enough 2nd half to keep his job another week (if there were thoughts about benching him). a lot of the usual dumb with penalties and the worst times, sacks, etc.

don't usually blame a coach for play calls as often we don't know the call......but no clue what Stefanski was thinking early on 3rd and short giving it to Tillman. Hello? The tush push not patented. You can do it too.

Props to them for the win but can see why some Eagle fans do not care for Sirianni. Some real headscratchers even though a couple worked.
