I assume you have been out there. I never went to the open but I saw the grounds a couple times on the subway out to Mets games.

Yep I been there a few times but since they made changes to the schedule I haven’t been back. Always would go on Labor Day because that used to be the 3rd round but now it is the round of 16 which means fewer matches to see. Grounds pass is pointless after the 3rd round and tickets to get into one of the top 2 stadiums is insane

I mean, he clearly doesn't like or agree with the transfer portal and NIL. Which is fine. I respect him sticking to his beliefs/principles.

But that is how the game is played now. If he wants to win...he'll need to change that approach. Otherwise, he's just going fall further and further behind the schools he's trying to compete with. He's basically recruiting with 1 hand tied behind his back.

Some have suggested that transfer portal and NIL are part of why Saban retired.

Principles and beliefs are great but as a coach you have to adjust with the times.....

Or head to the NFL.

He said that what Dabo is doing would be like an NFL coach saying..."We're only going to compete with the guys we drafted. We're not signing any FA's or making any trades".
