That’s not just you, he really is really big.
I don't see excessive talent, just isn't completely oafy at that size. Only a shade away from blunt force much of the time, including his shot.

I’m also very impatient

This is annoying

UConn should be pissed at this bullshit and just win by 100

So I don’t have a stroke…
They’re being pretty accommodating being in control basically the whole second half. Congrats on the repeat

6 foul calls on Purdue, 7 on UConn

3 FTA for UConn, 4 for Purdue.

Could not be more even.

Stop crying.
Yeah that’s some performance from a guy whose team wins easy

I don't know how to fix college hoops.

I just know the drop-off from nba to it is massive in terms of quality of play

Edey is a special college player but the rest of this squad is meh.

A special college player who very likely doesn’t make it in the NBA.

I am going back to the Boban comparison.

Maybe Edey moves his feet a little better than Boban does. I don’t know.

But those who say the comparison is disrespectful to Edey?

For his career, Boban’s per 36 in the NBA is 22.9 and 14.8 on 59% from the field and 76% from the line.

Boban can put up stats. Coaches just can’t keep him in the court because he can’t move.

I will be very surprised if Edey’s career per 36 is anywhere near that good. I don’t believe he is as skilled as Boban.

Better defender overall, better chance of getting minutes. Not as good offensively IMO.

I think the most concerning thing from last night is 0 assists

If he's going to do that in the NBA he isn't going to be there long.

I really didn’t like the way he attacked Clingan either.

Clingan is obviously an NBA caliber defender. Edey would get position and it seemed like the only real move he had was going left shoulder, right jump hook.

There were a couple times that he had position all the way under the rim and still went to a more passive jump hook. He was unable to use his physicality to power through and attack the rim.

Dominant big men would have been able to do that.

Edey has been highly successful in college shooting over defenders 4-6 inches shorter than him who lack the athleticism to challenge him.

If I am an NBA GM, I’m not touching Edey with a 10 foot pole.

Gotta say it's a pretty lazy coaching effort from Painter also. "Just give it to Edey" wasn't going to beat UCONN.

Probably the least impressive 37 points ever. They made one 3 because once the ball went in the paint it wasn't going back out.

Clingane made himself money. Edey has virtually no chance of being taken in the first.

I think Clingan is a safe pick. Not sure how much upside he has at the NBA level, but he is going to be a solid NBA player.

no chance....I still think a good HS team would win the women's tourney.

Not trying to rip the women as that game Monday was fun to watch.
Being realistic is not very feminist of you.

College basketball really isn’t in good shape. After the first weekend and the chance to root for David vs Goliath situations that tournament blew.

Been this way for years now and as I said before the tournament, it is a terrible product

Purdue Tennessee wasn't a bad game. But yea. First weekend was fun. The rest becomes kinda blah.

I don't think I've been super excited for a college final four since the KAT undefeated Kentucky year.

I thought it was poorly played basketball for being the two best teams in the country. Just an animal ball hack fest. Shot making was meh.

The year Carolina won it was fun as well. Duke vs UNC was a good game and so was Carolina vs Zags in the finals.
