The Niners choked as they have done repeatedly since 2012. This is who they are. This is their DNA. They’re front runners and when adversity punches them in the mouth they blink. Over and over and over again.
They had a double digit lead in the first half.
Then they completely failed to move the ball in the 3rd quarter.
Exactly like the Chiefs did in the 1st.
Once the Chiefs took the lead, the 9ers went right down the field and scored a TD in the 4th.
Then got in scoring range for go ahead FGs on the last 2 drives when the game was on the line.
These are 2 of the best defenses in the league. There are going to be lulls in production on both sides.
The 9ers absolutely played well enough to win that game. Chiefs were just a little better.
