Yeah, even if he has issues reading defenses, he still gives them a better chance to win than Mariota. Work more with him on reading defenses in film sessions, practice and in game...but unless he's hurt...you don't bench him. lol

I don’t think that is what he said at all.

He said they should sit Hurts to let him get healthy and that they weren’t winning a Super Bowl if he isn’t healthy.

He did not say Mariota is better than a healthy Jalen Hurts.

Yep. I think 8 would have been perfect, but I don't have a problem with 12. There will be at least 3 or 4 teams every year that don't belong. But that's better than having a deserving team left out.

And there will always be bubble teams.

But arguing over which 10-2 team deserves a shot seems like much less of a problem than leaving out somebody who is 13-0.

There will always be complaining teams until more structure is applied. Give every conference champion a slot, which would force Notre Dame to actually join a conference officially for football (probably the ACC) as another bonus lol.
