Have been disappointed in the defense but they are pretty opportunistic. Hopefully clamp down in 2nd half.

The offense needs a lot of work. I think they’ve gotten too much coach attrition on that side of the ball. That’s the worst I’ve seen an ND OL play since the Miami game at Miami a few years ago or the first GA game at ND. Maybe this new OL coach and OC find their stride but right now it doesn’t look good.

Duke is light up front and they were running exotic looks with movement and they confused the hell out of ND. And yet, I don’t see one single inside zone run based on doubles to the 2nd level with a big back in Estime. It gets them down hill and aggressive with the run game. I was completely disgusted. And down 2 WRs, they really couldn’t win vs man. ND always seems to have TEs. Mitchell has been great last two weeks.
