How much of that is the QB holding the ball too long? Need to balance the offense with enough running plays to keep the defense offense regardless.
The games I have seen this season he was getting hit quickly after the ball was snapped.

Ok you do you, I like watching teams develop throughout the season. Every single team goes one direction or the other to get where they end up.
I’ve accounted for that. The Saints could absolutely be better but they’ll still be limited. Marginal OL, marginal game manager at QB. One weapon in Olave on the outside. One weapon in the backfield in Kamara. Everybody else in their skill people is just a guy. In the NFC, you have the three most complete rosters in the league in Dallas, Niners, and Philly. Saints aren’t in that group. And they don’t have the depth those other three teams have. Those three teams can sustain injuries (already happening) and still have a roster advantage. When the Saints start taking injuries as all teams do, you’ll see diminished play.

And to think all I said to start all of this was that they stand out in their division lol

And then you said “they could be a problem”. For a rat shit division? Sure. For the NFC? Nah.

No they won’t. They’ll be NFC South good. You’ll be better than fluke trash led by Desmond Ritter, Bryce Young, and Baker Mayfield. That doesn’t translate to “a problem”.
This makes no sense. A great defense with above avg offense does translate to a problem

A defense that doesn't allow 20 points basically ever with a offense that can get 24+ ppg isn't a problem? Got it lol

It’s hopeless, teams can’t get any better throughout the season. Never happened before.

Nope its over. I dont get how a top 5 defense with a top 15 scoring offense (if they achieved what i said) wouldn't be a problem

Who was a worse coach Freddie or Hackett?

I'm voting for Freddie. If I remember his year as HC the team was very undisciplined and was near the top in penalties and penalty yards.

Gotta like the start the Browns are having. Saw something that said they have yet to give up a red zone TD. Was that accurate?
It's close

You heard right. Did give up a 70+ yarder on D but most of the points we have given up were from TOs by the O.

Just for clarification purposes, this version of the saints offense would not be a problem because the offense is bad. I am only talking about if the offense improves. It is absurd to think a team with a defense that doesn't allow 20 points per game wouldn't be a problem if the offense is solid

Above average offense? With 2 weapons, a game manager, and a mediocre OL? How is that going to happen?

Your defense will look statistically great because you play like 15 games against shitty QBs. That doesn’t mean they actually are great.

I’m talking about your defense being statistically great against a Sun Belt conference schedule but questioning how good they really are.

Yes

They were top 5 last year and top 10 in points allowed

They were 4th in 2021 in both

5th in 2020 in both

Yeah quit the bullshit like this defense isnt actually good. You sound dumb

They have been a great defense for 3 years now. Using the division as an excuse when this wasn't always the case is a ridiculous take

This year isn’t last year or two years ago or three years ago. Three years is an eternity in the NFL.
