Yea i can probably find it. Saw it on twitterx last week. Crowd went wild
I mean everybody reacts when good shit happens. Last night the crowd was on their feet throughout the entire bottom of the 9th inning reacting to every ball and strike.

I'm on the fence about returning the Heisman to him.

Yes, he would have made a lot of money if NIL existed at the time, but it didn't. Like it or not, he and his family received impermissible benefits. Those benefits being ok now, doesn't make them ok then.

If I'm not mistaken, more than just "on the field performance" is taken into account. The NCAA doesn't really have any sway over the Heisman and the Heisman Trust has it's own rules re: eligibility.

If anything needs to be changed from that time, it should be USC's wins and NC's being restored. The NCAA not only never proved their case re: USC knowing what was going on, it never made any logical sense that USC would know or be involved given where the impermissible benefits took place and that we're talking about a player who was already on scholarship. There was no transfer portal, so it's not like he could tell USC "give me what I want or I'm out".

There is also evidence that the NCAA had already decided USC's fate before they even began their investigation.

I wouldn't be against him getting it back, but I wouldn't consider it a "miscarriage of justice" if he doesn't.

I'm far more interested in USC getting their wins and NC back than Bush's Heisman.

Since they just this year took a bunch of wins from LSU I don’t see that happening. I was surprised, I thought they had quit trying.

Also, it looks like Bush is taking an interesting tact in his lawsuit that might just work.

His issue is that the NCAA called it "pay for play" which it wasn't since he was already under scholarship.

He's saying that the money he and his family received was a "loan" that he was supposed to pay back by signing with the agency that "loaned" him the money. He decided not to sign with that agency and didn't pay back the "loan".

I don't know much about the LSU situation...but wasn't it shown that LSU knew?

Oh yeah, basically all of Les Miles wins were taken away I think.

If it was proven that LSU knew what was happening and/or it was shown to be "pay for play"...that would be the difference as it was never shown that USC knew and it wasn't a "pay for play" situation since he was already on scholarship.

That’s pretty lit. Baseball is fun when a club like the Cubs are good. People were talking about them selling and now they’re the 2nd wildcard.
Pretty wild the Cubs sold the farm after winning the WS now they have acquired and developed their young talent and made some good trades. That is the way to do it bc they are a big market and they can outspend other teams but if you start with your farm system the sky is the limit.

Bellinger has rejuvenated his career, Morel is on his way to stardom, Dansby was a nice FA move. A lot of young talent.

Definitely. Are the cross-town games always that well attended I wonder? Seems like a bit of a special rivalry situation.

Funny story on Dan Patrick...

They had Will Ferrell (USC grad) and Brady Quinn in studio at the same time.

Brady Quinn talked about being heckled by Will Ferrell during a game at the Coliseum.

Apparently, Will Ferrell was on the sideline yelling at Quinn..."Hey #10, your pants are too high". He says that at first he wasn't sure who he was yelling at...then when he realized it was Will Ferrell and he was yelling at him, he says..."It got in my head a little bit. I was asking my backup 'Is he right? Are my pants too high?"

Brady Quinn is one of the reasons the number 22 is a bad number for the Browns.

Him, Johnny outta football and Brandon Weeden all taken with that pick.

I don't know how anyone keeps a straight face around Ferrell...
