Damn it......she was just 55.....a few years older than me. Fuck it, I am going to go off this healthy eating kick and do whatever the fuck I want.

Wasn't really a fan of hers. I like some of her recipes, but never really watched any of her shows because she was too loud.

Used to watch a lot of that kind of content, but not since I ditched cable. Recent picture looks a lot older than her posted 55 (my age), weird.

Haven't seen a cause of death, but I would guess she's not the healthiest eater either (a lot of chefs struggle with weight and diet, got to taste what you're preparing).

They're still waiting on what the medical examiner says...but apparently, whoever called 911 said that she went into cardiac arrest.

I don't remember ever hearing about anything like that with her, but being a high level chef carries a ton of pressure and long hours. She wouldn't be the first chef who used substances of some sort to maintain energy.

Not just the illegal ones either, I see people dining vodka and Red Bull by the gallon and to me that’s scary as hell.

Yeah, doesn't necessarily mean anything illegal. Could just be what you mentioned.

Could be just a lot of those energy drinks. From what I've read about those, they aren't exactly good for you, but some folks drink them like water.

Plus, chefs aren't necessarily known for health and fitness. When you spend 16 hours a day around food...you're gonna eat...especially since you have to taste everything your kitchen makes.

I always thought it would be fun to own a sports bar that served "chef'd up" sports bar food with other chefs doing the cooking and I would come in a couple of times a month and make a couple of dishes that weren't available any other time.
